Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most well-known role was as Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. She attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons in Chicago theater before transitioning to television and film. Anna was the first to get a major part as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. In the early 90s Anna was a frequent guest on TV and in films like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood that was shot during the middle 2000's. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. She also starred in the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn also was a part of a four-part audio-play podcast called "Numbered Days". The love story that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the narrative of Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and eventually its demise similar to the arc that was Walter White's last years of life.
