Kirsten Simone Vangsness, an American actor and playwright from the United States. She became famous after appearing as "Penelope Garcia" in the crime procedural police drama TV series 'Criminal Minds'. Kirsten Simone Vangsness has also been a guest on two spin-off series "Criminal Minds Beyond Borders' as well as Criminal Minds: Speculative Behavior. From her debut appearance on show business, in 1998, Kirsten Vangsness appeared in numerous small parts in film. Her most notable work within the film industry includes her appearances in 'In My Sleep', 'The Chicago 8', and 'Kill Me, Deadly'.
